Work for older adults
Working with older adults is not an easy task. But it is a very beautiful experience. Because it allows us to get to know that human being with so much experience given by life with anecdotes and so many stories to tell that working with older adults makes it an adventure.
Older adults have many things to tell us, advise us, and it is often wise to listen to what they have to say. It is also true that some require more patience since the years have made their mind not the same and neither their body. Well, life and its cycles, one day you are young and eager to get ahead in all aspects and another day you are old and only what once was remains.
Of course with all the respect that our dear Grandparents deserve. They are the ones who laid the foundations for the adults we are now, thanks to our parents and representatives.
Older adults who are already retired enjoy many benefits such as being able to pay for their care in the most optimal way possible and thus cover the needs that they can no longer do on their own. That is why assisted living comes to life in retirement settings.
On the other hand, it is a way to establish ties with other people your age and share life experiences that only an older adult knows how to tell.
They also have acquaintances who will readily accept a simple casual greeting of “How are you?” This is just the beginning of a lasting friendship.
Working with older adults requires patience. As the saying goes, patience is a virtue. Is a reality. You have to understand in many cases that time for them is different than for a younger person. They have to make things slower and it is our duty to go at their pace.

1)Older adults require attention, but care does not lessen their actions. As I said before you have to go at their pace. If he offers to do something, your duty is to help him complete the task. Don’t make them feel bad, on the contrary, you should encourage their skills, even if they are not the best, it is our duty to make them feel that they can still do many things. Something as simple as walking. Of course if the grandparent’s condition allows it.
2)Being your friend is super important, we all like to have a friend. Someone to trust, someone to talk to. That someone to have a friendship connection with.
3)You must be careful. Be careful with them, treat them with respect, help them do their tasks and duties for the day.
4)Be communicative. Remember that it is not just talking, it is expressing the words with due respect at the required moment. Let older adults know what to do during the day.

Socialize
As simple as talking, as simple as listening, as simple as feeling.
Socializing allows us to connect with the world, connect with animals, connect with people.
For this reason, this resource must be put into practice and in an optimal way so that our grandparents can be in harmony with our work environment.
You don’t need to talk nice or dress up. You just have to be yourself, a nice person with tact, with love.
Well you made it to the end, I’m very glad this is the job for you.
